Wanted:  Information concerning the whereabouts, activities and history of Christy Cay Cannady.

  Christy Cannady (aka Christy Kraft, Kay Woods, Christina Mia) is the subject of an ongoing investigation for fraud and grand larceny.  She is wanted for questioning regarding a number of incidents stretching from Georgia to Maine.

  This site (ChristyCannady.com) has been created to assist in gathering information related to the investigation and to warn potential victims.  Christy is believed to be a pathological liar and/or sociopath and is suspected of using exaggerated as well as outright fictitious claims regarding her health and personal hardship to garner sympathy and financial support.  It has been reported that these funds, obtained solely through misrepresentation and fraud, have been used simply to support her lifestyle.  If you have been involved with, have made contributions to or loans for the benefit of Christy (Cay) Cannady it is likely you have done so under false pretense(s).  In short, Christy is reported to be a scam artist and gold digger.  

  Christy was born on March 29, 1979, is 38 years old, less than five tall and of petite build.  She has hazel eyes and was recently seen with black hair.  Christy has a couple of tatoos, one on her upper left back/shoulder another on her left calf.  She had breast augmentation surgery in March 2011 and worked for a number of years as a exotic dancer and escort using the name “Georgia”.    

The first photo below was taken in Bangor and believed to be from June, 2011, the second was taken prior to enlargement surgery:  The third photo is fairly recent from May or June of 2014.  The fourth photo is also recent.

  Although deemed to be of questionable moral character, Christy claims to be a Baptist and being of partially Filipino descent, speaks Tagalog.  Christy is reported to smoke and drink often.  Christy changes her name, address, hairstyle, phone number, vehicle and boyfriend(s) frequently.  Previously she has lived in and around Dresden, ME; Millinocket, ME; Bangor, ME; Leverett, MA; Milford, ME; Old Town, ME; Ruther Glen, VA and Statesboro, GA.  Christy has children via a former marriage (as Christy Theriault) in the Bangor, ME area.  Although Christy does not have custody of her children she seemed to prefer staying within a 75 mile radius of Bangor from April 2011 until April 2014  She is now reported to be back in the Statesboro, GA area where she also has family.  

  Christy graduated from Statesboro HS in Georgia in 1997 and attended the University of Maine as recently as 2010.  She claims to have worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bangor, ME and Shutesbury Athletic Club, Shutesbury, MA.  Christy qualified for CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) licensure in Maine between 7/27/05 and 5/15/09 but shows little work history in that field.  As a dancer she has performed at a number of dance clubs in the New England area (CT, MA, ME, RI) including La Casa Gentlemen's Club in East Millinocket, Maine.
